The busy season is will underway. I have several teaching projects happening and the show season officially start for me this weekend. I am on my way to Williamsburg for An Occassion for the Arts. So much going on around here, life and work. I am working on new design ideas as well as techniques for fabric. There is a book that I always like to refer to when I feel stuck or need a little technique refresher, the book is “The Surface Designer’s Handbook” by Holly Brackmann. I recommend it to anyone who would like an overview in adding color and design to textiles. It offer some very good technical information with a lot of step by step and finished product photos.
