The weather has been great for working in the dye studio and getting ready for the Tidewater Quilt Guild Show next week. This the best part of my work, planning colors and patterns and seeing them come alive on the cottons linens and silks. Excited to be accepted in An Occasion for the Arts show this fall in Williamsburg. Looking forward to so much creating this summer.
Working on some new pieces for a special show in April. It has been interesting to work freely without my usual constraints. Also new classes coming soon, if you want to keep up the this years classes, workshops and all make sure you sign up for my newsletter( the next one is going out soon).
Here is a sneak peek.
It has been a crazy time with several projects not working out, and just a lot of downs and not many ups this year. SA has been doing most of the garden work and I really miss being out in the plants and soil, so am making an effort to get outside-even in the winter and work in the garden. It is so much a part of my creative inspiration. Only one more design event next weekend, here’s to hoping for a big, positive finish, with my art, before the Holidays.
